SDNE Capstone Prep - Presentation

This page summarizes the requirements for the final group presentation (Deliverable 6) of the SDNE Capstone Prep course. Please read this page and the corresponding rubric carefully!

For this deliverable, each group is expected to complete a professional presentation of their Capstone project. It is strongly recommended that you rehearse and optimize your presentation as it will require a considerable amount of preparation to produce a quality presentation.

In this deliverable, you are to prepare and deliver a maximum 15 minute presentation describing your Capstone Project. You will be graded on creativity, preparation, delivery, and audience engagement in addition to the following components of your presentation:

  1. Introduction (approx 2 mins) - Briefly introduce your team, your project and your target market / customers (think elevator pitch). Summarize the problem that you are attempting to solve.
  2. System and Software Architecture (approx. 3 mins) - Briefly explain the proposed system architecture and development tools (language, frameworks, components, etc.)
  3. Proof of Concept Prototype Demo (approx. 7 mins) - Demonstrate and explain the Proof of Concept Prototype (and if possible the coded key feature.)
  4. Risk Identification and Mitigation (approx. 2 mins) - Briefly describe the major risks and how they could be mitigated.
  5. Conclusion (approx. 1 minute) - summarize your project and call for action.

Submission Requirements
The Powerpoint or equivalent presentation deck should list your group name, project name, and team members.
PLEASE UPLOAD TO SLATE YOUR PPT AND ANY OTHER RESOURCES SHARED WITH THE AUDIENCE DURING YOUR PRESENTATION.
